What is the MTCRE certification?
MTCRE (MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer) is the MikroTik certification dedicated to routing: how packets choose their path, both with static routes and dynamic protocols.
Who is the MTCRE course for?
It is aimed at WISPs, providers, network administrators, and system integrators who manage networks with multiple routers and multiple links. To enroll in the course, you need a valid MTCNA certification.
What will you learn?
Among the topics in the official curriculum:
- advanced static routing, ECMP, and route selection;
- point-to-point links and tunnels;
- dynamic routing with OSPF;
- multiple routing tables and policy routing.
How do you obtain the certification?
By passing the official MikroTik exam. The lessons are online, but the exam is taken in a classroom, on a date to be agreed upon with the organizers. MTCRE is the prerequisite for MTCINE, the course on BGP and MPLS.
