Transparent DNS with the bridge NAT: the invisible MikroTik that answers everyone
A MikroTik in bridge, invisible to the network, that intercepts every DNS request toward any server: bridge NAT and IP NAT running a relay on RouterOS 7, with the example of blocking a site.
DojoThree servers with the same IP on the same LAN: reaching them all with MikroTik
Three devices with the same factory address on the same LAN and a PC that has to talk to all of them: with the bridge NAT answering ARP and the IP NAT inside the bridge, on RouterOS 7 you see them as three different addresses, without touching them.
DojoHow to combine multiple internet connections with MikroTik: ECMP and PCC in RouterOS 7
With a MikroTik you can use two or more internet connections together. ECMP (several default routes with the same distance) is the simplest method but it doesn't let you decide which line a connection uses; PCC (Per Connection Classifier) assigns each connection to a line and keeps it there until it ends. In RouterOS 7, PCC uses routing tables (/routing table) and gateway checking with check-gateway. Here we build it in six steps.
